These quick and easy Easter treats are perfect to make with your kids! Get your whole family together to make these perfect cakes in just 15 minutes!

100g milk/dark chocolate, broken into chunks
3 tbsp golden syrup
The first step is to weight out the ingredients. Children can do this by themselves with supervision and the little ones can help pour the ingredients into the weighing scales. Put 100g of cornflakes into a large bowl and put to the side. Break 100g milk/dark chocolate into chunks. Put 50g butter, the chocolate and 3 tbsp golden syrup into a saucepan.
The second step requires the grown-ups to create a Bain Marie to melt the weighed butter, chocolate and golden syrup. To do this add water to a saucepan over low heat. Place a bowl bigger than the saucepan over the top. Stir occasionally as it melts. Be careful when lifting the bowl off the pan when the mix has melted. Wait till the water stops boiling and use a dishcloth to move the bowl. Alternatively, you can put it in the microwave. Wait till the ingredients are cooled before doing the next step.
The third step can be done by the children. Simply pour the chocolate mix over the top of the cornflakes using a wooden spoon.
The fourth step might be easier done by grown-ups. Spoon the chocolate cornflakes mixture into 12 cupcake cases arranged on a muffin tray. Use chocolate eggs to place on top for that extra Easter touch!
The next step is to put the tray into the fridge. You will be able to tell if they are ready when you can take the cupcake case off and it still holds its shape
