Each Ax60+ unit is scalable to meet your specific needs. Up to four analysing sensors can be networked with the central monitoring station. The units can monitor for O2, CO2 or a combination of both gases providing the flexibility most establishments need. Each sensor can handle up to four alarm units which respond with audible and visual indicators when the alarm setting is triggered. 

The O2 monitoring system incorporates a lead-free electrochemical sensor that provides protection from potential O2 depletion caused by foreign gas elements such as nitrogen entering a workspace. 

The Ax60+ also helps monitor for oxygen enrichment that can occur in workplaces that use pure O2, such as medical laboratories, fire suppression units and facilities using liquid nitrogen.

Oxygen enrichment happens when the content of the air in a building or room becomes greater than the normal 21 percent. When this occurs, there is a higher potential for fires as items that might not normally be considered flammable can catch fire.

The carbon dioxide (CO2) sensor will protect your team and customers from the dangers of enriched carbon dioxide (CO2).

The oxygen (O2) sensor offers protection from oxygen (O2) deficiency in applications where inert gases such as Nitrogen (N2), Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) or Argon (Ar) are used or stored. It will also warn of elevated oxygen (O2) levels in applications that use enriched oxygen (O2).

Monitoring for CO2 (carbon dioxide) contamination in a workspace is as vital as monitoring simple O2 levels and often for the same reasons. The Analox Ax60+ uses state of the art Non-dispersive Infrared (NDIR) technology to monitor for CO2. This process uses infrared light to determine the intensity and level of CO2 in a given workspace.

Analox engineers and product designers developed the Ax60+ to meet the diverse safety needs and regulatory requirements mandated by local, state and federal authorities. In the United States, the Ax60+ has been pre-programmed to meet USA regulations with system alarm set-points for OSHA, NBIC, NFPA and IFC standards. In Europe, the Ax60+ set-points utilise the EH40 standard.

The Ax60+ is designed to be flexible and offers several options for customisation. This includes the placement of up to four monitoring units, customised visual and audible alarms and the option of monitoring just O2 levels, CO2 levels or combinations of both.
