The Lovibond range from the Tintometer Group offers a single source of instruments, reference materials and reagents. Trusted in laboratories, industrial settings, and environmental monitoring applications, Lovibond products prioritise ease of use, reliability, and compliance with international standards.

At Gem Scientific, we supply a selected range of Lovibond products, including the popular Lovibond photometers - precise and user-friendly instruments essential for water quality analysis and process control.

Active filters

The XD series instruments are ideal for routine and spectral analysis. As true all-rounders, the XD 7000 and XD 7500 facilitate work routines, especially with automatic method recognition using barcodes, automatic cell recognition and more than 170 pre-programmed methods. In addition to analytical quality control, they also support Good Labor Practice (GLP). The instruments are available together with bar-coded test tubes and a wide range of accessories from a single source - which is also easy on your wallet. High-quality reference beam optics, usability, easy handling and multilingual global applicability round off the versatility of the VIS and UV/VIS spectrophotometers, which are also equipped for flexible on-site use.

  • Premium optical system with reference beam
  • Automatic test recognition with internal barcode reader
  • Automatic cuvette type detection
  • Support of analytical quality assurance

Applications

Boiler Water, Cooling Water, Disinfection Control, Drinking Water Treatment, Food and Beverage, Galvanization,  Others: Pool Water Control, Raw Water Treatment, Waste Water Treatment

Fast, Economical & Portable Visual Matching

  • Two-Field Vision for Accurate Results
  • Ability to Guarantee Constant Lighting Conditions

The Comparator 2000+ is an easy-to-use, entry level colour measurement system that compares the colour of the sample directly against the colour of glass in a disc. All you need to do is rotate the disc to get the closest result to the scale

Flexible thermoreactor for sample preparation of photometrical determination of COD, total chrome, total phosphate, total nitrogen and TOC. Digestion is possible with three temperature ranges and three pre-programmed reaction times.

  • Three Temperature Ranges
  • The reactor can operate optionally with 100°C, 120°C or 150°C – depending in each case on the sample to be prepared.
  • Three Different Reaction Times
  • Three different reaction times are available with 30, 60 and 120 minutes. Your advantage: Afterwards the unit switched itself off automatically.
  • Large Cuvette Shaft
  • Place up to 24 16-mm-round cuvettes in the RD 125.
  • Voltage Change Possible
  • The RD 125 can be used with various voltages: Choose 110 V and 220 V with the voltage selector on the back.

The MD 200 photometer can be used in practically any area of water analysis.

A waterproof (IP68) housing, high precision interference filters and LEDs used give robustness, reliability, accuracy, and confidence in results.

A backlit screen, 4 button keypad, scroll memory function which saves the last used parameter, and one time zero for switching between methods make the unit easy to use and ideal for testing in any environment.

Results containing date and time can be stored in the on-board memory and can also be downloaded via an infra-red unit (IRiM) for later review in excel or notepad.

With the added reliability of the Lovibond liquid reagents the MD 200 is the ideal choice for photometric Hydrogen Peroxide and pH testing.

Test / Range

  • Hydrogen Peroxide 1-500 mg/l
  • pH Value 6.5-8.4
