Harlequin® mCASE is a selective chromogenic agar for the detection of Salmonella from a range of matrices. It has been optimized for improved recovery and detection of S. Typhi and S. Paratyphi. It is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions in humans.

The primary use of Letheen Broth is to neutralise the bactericidal action of quaternary ammonium compounds and for determining the phenol coefficient of cationic surfactants. Letheen Broth is also used in hygiene swabbing practices where neutralizing quaternary ammonium compounds are required.
