BST metal detectable silicone lanyards are produced from 1.0 mm thick food grade silicone cord containing evenly dispersed metal detectable additives. As well as the silicone cord being detectable, the various metal parts also add to the items detectability. These lanyards also incorporate a silverbased antibacterial/antimicrobial additive which is extremely effective against E-Coli, MRSA & Salmonella.

The silicone cord features an optional 6mm diameter hole at the back of the neck to act as a deliberate weak point – allowing the lanyard to break at a reasonable force to prevent trapping accidents. We highly recommend that customers carry out their own testing and risk assessments before introducing to your production environment.

This metal detectable & x-ray visible stapleless stapler is designed specifically for use in the food industry, where minimising the risk of foreign body contamination is of the highest priority. The stapler works by cutting a flap in the corner of the papers, folding it back and tucking it into a slit, all in one press.

The BST DetectaBoard® is a heavy duty detectable plastic A4 clipboard for use in food processing environments. The board is designed to feature minimal germ traps and be highly shatter resistant as well as fully x-ray visible and metal detectable. Our tried and tested xdetect® plastic is fully food contact approved should the board come into incidental food contact. As well as the shatter resistance of the material, our unique cylinder rim design considerably strengthens the board by resisting flexion.

The BST DetectaCalc® solves this problem by being the only plastic calculator available on the market with detectable casing and buttons.

BST 9” kitchen scissors are manufactured by Sheffield (UK) based Taylors Eye Witness, who have been manufacturing scissors and knives since the 19th century. Traditional handle materials have been replaced by BST XDETECT® - to provide the finest quality stainless steel scissor with food grade metal detectable and x-ray visible plastic handles. BST 9” kitchen scissors are a premium quality scissor suitable for food production or any other environment where hygiene and foreign body risks must be minimal. The overall length of the scissor is 9” (23cm), with the blades (pivot to tip) being 4” (10cm) in length.

The body and cap of our Detectalite Highlighter are moulded from high-density polyethylene, containing a non-toxic metal detectable additive. This compound can be detected by correctly calibrated in-line metal detection systems. The Detectalite features a polyester chiselled nib ideally shaped for highlighting text and is available in five bright ink colours; blue, yellow, orange, pink, and green.

Also available in an assorted pack. Sureflow ink means the pen will continue to write for several days with the cap left off.

The body and cap of our Detectawipe Drywipe Marker are moulded from high-density polyethylene, containing a non-toxic metal detectable additive. This compound can be detected by correctly calibrated in-line metal detection systems. The Detectawipe features Drywipe ink suitable for use on whiteboards and other glossy surfaces that can be wiped clean with a cloth or tissue.

Available in blue, black, red, and green ink in bullet nib with a multi coloured pack also available.

Blue and black ink are available in the fine tip nib.

The body and cap of our Detectamark Permanent Marker are moulded from high-density polyethylene, containing a non-toxic metal detectable additive. This compound can be detected by correctly calibrated in-line metal detection systems. The Detectamark features Sureflow ink, meaning the pen will continue to write for several days, even if the cap is left off. This alcohol-based ink will permanently mark most surfaces, including wood, plastic, glass, concrete, and clean or printed metals.

Available in blue, black, red, and green ink in bullet nib with a multi coloured pack also available.

Our lightweight and hygienic fully stainless steel clipboards are constructed using 304 grade stainless steel, which has excellent corrosion resistance, is long lasting, and durable. Available in A4 and A3 sizes, both boards are oversized to easily accommodate paperwork. The stainless steel clip applies a strong amount of force to ensure paperwork is kept secure.

The J800 is BST’s original and best-selling retractable DetectaPen®. The J800 features a high quality, unpressurised, stainless steel bodied ink cartridge with an estimated write out length of 9,000 metres (EWIMA) and a 1mm ball point nib. Our metal detectable loop tags are a self-locking tag, available in a detectable, heat resistant up to 250°C +/- 20°C, laminate material with a locked in aluminium layer, providing the metal detectability of the tag. Loop tags are produced in a premium quality tear-resistant detectable material, making them more robust than most standard labels.

The receptive coloured surface can be typed, computer printed, or handwritten. These loop tags are supplied pre-printed with fields for product, date/time, batch number and use by date, as well as two blank fields for other uses.
