The ETI deep-frying oil tester and thermometer helps you determine the quality of frying oil. This unit has a dual display showing the temperature of the frying oil and % Total Polar Materials (TPM) value. The % TPM value lets you make a judgement on the quality and the ageing of the cooking oil. The quality deteriorates over time due to the effects of heating.
The deep-frying oil tester probe needs to be placed directly in the hot cooking oil. Within seconds, the results will establish the oil temperature and % TPM value. This unit has an LED traffic light function to tell the user if the oil needs changing. Changing the oil will reduce waster, save you money and also time. This unit is suitable for measuring olive oil, palm oil, rapeseed oil, peanut oil, soybean oil, sesame oil, vegetable oils and animal fats.
