ETI's TempTest 1 Smart thermometer incorporates a large, easy to read digital display, with a precise read-out of temperature over the range of -49.9 to 299.9 with a 0.1/deg. F resolution and an accuracy of ±0.4 (-49.9 to 199.9).
Featuring an automatic 360deg. display, the TempTest 1 screen rotates in 90deg. increments which allows the user to read the temperature in any position ie. left hand, right hand, vertical or horizontal. This feature can be 'locked' by the user if required.
Benefits
The TempTest 1 is supplied with an integral, permanently attached, stainless steel food penetration probe (3.3 x 80 mm) with fast response tip and comes complete with a holster/wall bracket, designed specifically for the TempTest to ensure safe, secure and handy storage. It is housed in a waterproof IP67 case with an ergonomic rubber seal, both of which include 'Biomaster' additive to reduce bacterial growth.
Both low battery (icon) and open circuit indication are displayed, when applicable. Each TempTest 1 is powered by two AAA batteries with a minimum life expectancy of 5000 hours in normal use without the backlight. The backlight function features ETI Smart Technology - only coming on when the light level requires it. The thermometer will power off automatically after ten minutes, maximising battery life - this feature can be disabled.

Biomaster additives are powerful broad-spectrum inorganic, silver-based biocides for use in plastics, helping to reduce hygiene risks. The concentration of silver, in the patented anti-microbial active agent in Biomaster, provides a release of silver ions on demand, which in turn safely inhibits microbial growth.
