Hanna Instruments HI-96803 is a portable glucose refractometer designed for use in the food industry. To determine the % glucose in aqueous solutions, the HI-96803 measures the refractive index. The results are then converted to % by weight concentration units. The HI-96803 offers all the benefits of a digital meter but only costs a little more than a mechanical model. Ideal for analysing the sugar content in fruit, energy drinks, puddings, jams, honey, sauces, tofu and soups.
Benefits
White, water-resistant, casing
Easy clean sample well
Zero using pure water
Battery operated with auto shut-off
1.5 second measurement time
Direct readout in % Brix and ℃
Automatic temperature compensation
No calibration solutions required
Large clear LCD display
The HI-96803 is used by fruit growers and importers, fruit juice & drink manufacturers, and productions of jams, preserves & sauces. This is one of five sugar refractometers Hanna offers to meet the requirements of the food industry. The HI-96803 is rugged and water-resistant for measurements in the lab or field.

The BINDER incubator of the BF Avantgarde.Line series with forced convection is suitable for all gentle incubation applications, particularly under a full load and large batch throughputs. This incubator is extremely homogeneous and has quick recovery times.
Kjeldahl block digestion for the high-throughput lab. KJELDATHERM - block digestion can be so simple and convenient. KJELDATHERM’s outstanding properties:
Efficient: process 20 samples at a time, even in continuous operation.
Flexible: adjust the acid amount flexibly to your type of sample and process even fatty and inhomogeneous samples without difficulties, highly foaming samples are kept in check by regulating the heating
Safe: thanks to the removable control unit, you can operate KJELDATHERM easily from outside the danger zone
Transparent: KJELDATHERM documents all the digestion parameters for you
HORIBA's highly-sensitive, flat sensor technology opens up new possibilities for sampling and sample types. Only a small amount of sample is required, so you can easily sample in situ without the need for beakers or other labware.
Sensors are easily replaced as required.
Measure even smaller samples with the LAQUAtwin sampling sheet.
The sampling sheet allows trace volumes to be analysed. For example, you can even measure the pH of human skin by wiping with a sampling sheet soaked in pure water, and placing it on the sensor.
Using the HORIBA sampling sheet, volumes down to 0.05 ml can be tested (except for conductivity measurements).
Carry case comes as standard for handy portability.
The compact carry case contains everything you need for your measurements, including the standard solution and sampling sheets.
