Hanna Instruments HI-96821 is a portable salt refractometer designed for use in the food industry. The HI-96821 offers all the benefits of a digital meter but only costs a little more than a mechanical model. This easy-to-use refractometer is ideal for drop sampling and for testing the salt content of solutions used in food preparation.
Benefits
Readings are quick and simple because it uses the measurement of the refractive index to determine salt content. After calibrating the HI-96821 with distilled or deionised water, the samples can be measured. The results of the refractive index appear within seconds and are measured with speed and precision.
