HI-6000 Features

Plug-and-play modular design

The HI-6000 provides full flexibility to create the multiparameter meter that suits your requirements. ‘Plug-and-play’ modules can be easily swapped to configure the HI-6000 to suit your workflow and volume of testing, allowing this benchtop multimeter to adapt and evolve for accurate, repeatable measurement over a range of parameters.

Comprehensive parameter range

The HI-6000 modular units cover a comprehensive selection of the most common parameters for laboratories when combined with suitable Hanna Instruments electrodes and probes. Measure pH, ORP, ISE, DO and EC with exceptional accuracy across a wide range, including niche areas, industrial purposes and environmental applications.

The HI-6000-2 ISE, pH and ORP module introduces a new parameter into the HI-6000 range of laboratory-grade meters. This module is compatible with Hanna’s comprehensive range of ISE electrodes for the measurement of niche parameters in samples according to industry requirements.

The EC module HI-6000-3 in combination with the HI-6000 system provides an ideal solution for the three stages of USP <645>, with all three stages programmed directly into the meter ready to use out of the box.

Compatible with Hanna laboratory-grade probes and electrodes

Combine the HI-6000 modules with Hanna’s highly accurate probes and electrodes for reliability in testing. Each module has a recommended probe configuration for accurate testing. The HI-2000-2 pH, ISE and ORP modules are compatible with Hanna’s range of ion-selective electrodes, allowing you to tailor your HI-6000 multiparameter meter to your specific requirements for measurement.

Modern, functional design

The HI-6000 series is designed to be an ideal solution for modern laboratories. A streamlined design with a large capacitive touch screen that works even with gloves and a small footprint allows this advanced meter to take up less space while providing all the functionality of a multiparameter meter with swappable modules. The electrode arms can be placed on both or either side for additional flexibility in the lab.

Exceptional accuracy across all parameters

The HI-6000 is a highly accurate, laboratory-grade multiparameter meter. In combination with Hanna electrodes and probes, each module of the HI-6000 provides exceptionally accurate, repeatable measurements from testing. In-built features such as galvanic isolation ensure the same degree of accuracy without interference across a wide range of different samples and applications.

Five views, three measurements

The HI-6000 can measure up to three samples simultaneously, splitting the screen in half or into thirds depending on your measurement requirements. Five individual views are available on-screen:

Basic View: A simplified display of the measurement unit, measured value and temperature source.

Simple GLP View: A more complex display with the last calibration date and time, Offset value, average slope and electrode condition.

Full GLP View: A complete display including electrode symbol and used buffers tray in addition to all of the above.

Graph View: A live, plotted graph of the measured value

Tabulated View: A classic table-style display featuring all measured values in chronological order with date, time and notes.

Up to one million data points

The HI-6000 has the capacity for up to 1 million individual data points, complete with time and date stamps for practical organisation and management. This data is accessible via WiFi and ethernet to FTP and email as well as over a USB stick or direct connection to a laptop, PC or printer.

Complete alarm system

Both audible and visual alarms are available for the HI-6000, allowing you to be notified of any measurements that are outside of the correct ranges. Customise the ranges directly to set audible, visual or both alarms that activate outside of the defined limit, saving time in identifying potential calibration or sample problems.

USB C and USB A functionality

Both USB A and USB C connections are included with the HI-6000 series, allowing you to easily transfer data and connect peripherals such as a keyboard. Data from measurements are exported in a universal .csv format, requiring no additional software to access logged data on any laptop or PC.
