Monmouth Guardian II MSC1200 Biological Safety Cabinets are designed for use in microbiology and biotechnology facilities. The Guardian® Class II includes microprocessor control technology to set new standards for the operator, environmental and product protection.
Together with the low energy and low noise levels, the Guardian® Class II offers ISO Class 4 clean air and is the preferred choice for many of the worlds leading research laboratories. The unique design and integration of the front screen, fan systems, HEPA filters and control system means the cabinet offers excellent internal height of the work area.

The Guardian® Class II has been fully and independently type tested and approved by the Health Protection Agency (Porton Down) to European Standard EN 12469:2000.
The Guardian® offers adjustable intensity LED lighting and a high angled front window for optimal viewing and supervision at either a seated or standing position. Each unit is supplied with a UV light as standard and a full length, electronic sliding sash, manufactured from toughened glass, which closes in full when the cabinet is not in use or requires sterilisation.
Sectional, removable, mirror finish 316-grade stainless steel work surfaces include profiled air in-take grilles to ensure efficient airflow.
The sliding sash is protected by our Infra-Red Intelligent Sash Safety (IRISS) system. An infra-red beam project across the base of the opening, should this beam be broken by inadvertently positioned apparatus or an operator's hand, the door closure will be instantly and automatically aborted, preventing potential injuries, instrument damage or sash damage.
Pre-programmed Start and Finish and UV Chamber Sterilisation options ensure that the cabinet can be used efficiently and completely sterilised to client requirements. Pin Code controlled access guarantees authorised and trained users can operate the cabinet.
