With the new SMZ-171 stereo zoom microscope Motic introduces an optically improved addition to its well-established SMZ Stereo series. New materials for ESD compatibility as well as optimised LED illumination options have been added to this series to create a versatile stereo microscope platform for biological and medical preparations to industrial quality control and inspection.

Motic's new SMZ161 Stereo Zoom microscope joins the widespread success of the SMZ Stereo family by introducing light ESD material components as well as a new, improved LED illumination options. Convincing optical performance, combined with a small footprint and robust mechanics, makes the SMZ161 the ideal stereo microscope for teaching situations in High Schools and Universities.

The combination of the LED nosepiece and LED condenser, automates the workflow even more, as it also automatically loads a specific N.A. depending on the objective in the light path. Interchangeability between halogen/LED illumination or different 3W LED colour temperatures is very easy thanks to a drawer at the base of the stand.
