The back-and-forth reciprocating motion has a 19 mm stroke length. Permanently lubricated ball bearings and maintenance-free, brushless DC motor provide reliable service and continuous-duty operation.

The temperature range is from 5 ℃ above ambient up to +80 ℃ with temperature uniformity of ±0.3 ℃ at 37 ℃. The ES-20/80 has a settable speed control range of 50-400 rpm (in 10rpm increments).
