The POLYWIPE™ sponge swab is a sterile pre-moistened blue sponge swab, ready to use and highly effective for the microbial surface sampling of a wide variety of surfaces in the food industry and infection prevention & control.

  • Manufactured from a bright blue special sponge material that prevents shedding and contains no inhibitory substances, it is convenient for flat or irregular surfaces, such as conveyor belts and machines parts, as well as floors, walls, drains and ceilings.
  • The wipes are pre-moistened with a choice of five different buffers or solutions to optimise your results and individually sealed in an easy to open, tamper proof pouch.
  • They are gamma irradiated and can be stored at room temperature. Certain formats of POLYWIPE™ can be supplied with gloves, or resealable bags.
  • Multiple variants available to optimise your testing within an Easy Open Stomacher Bag to reduce the need for gloves and take one more step to NET ZERO EMISSIONS.

Features & Benefits:

  • Pre-moistened with buffers and can be stored at ambient temperature. This allows the product to be easily transported to onsite testing with no handling concerns and with optimum recovery of target microorganisms
  • Highly visible, bright blue colour to ensure easy detection should the POLYWIPE™ become dislodged from hand or bag.
  • POLYWIPE™ is ergonomically designed for convenient sampling of large, flat, or irregularly shaped surfaces.
  • Individually packaged either within a peel pouch, container or sealed stomacher bag, making it easy to take to any location for sampling.
  • Tamper evident packaging with sterility guaranteed by irradiation, ensuring the sample taken is only of your target area.
  • Sponge dimensions: W: 45mm H: 98mm D: 4mm

Template has a 10 cm x 10 cm sampling area and is flat to ensure consistent samples are taken every time
