Pre-moistened Viscose Tip Swab in Neutralising Buffer, Blue Polystyrene Breakpoint (at 45mm) Shaft. Supplied in a tube only
Ideal for whole sample analysis as all sample is contained on the swab. Breakpoint included for convenient sample removal, transfer to smaller vials & further analysis.
Blue shaft for identification in critical areas
Breakpoint for easy sample analysis
Easy to break off into a vial
No swab cap once broken, so stops the stomacher bag getting damaged, potentially affecting sample count.
Pre-moistened Viscose Tip Swab in Neutralising Buffer, Blue Polystyrene Breakpoint (at 45mm) Shaft. Supplied in a tube only. Recommended for hygiene surveillance (HACCP) and environmental monitoring of most surfaces where chemical residue neutralisation is desired.

Excellent recovery of organisms including TVC, Listeria spp., Staphylococci, Enterobacteriaceae eg Salmonella, E.coli (E coli / ecoli / e. coli), Enterobacter, staphylococcus, klebsiella, E. coli Enterobacter, Enterobacter sakazakii
Known Limitations: Analyse as soon as possible due to the small volume to minimise sample dry out and organism loss. Refrigeration will stabilise the recovery of some organisms. Not suitable for most fastidious organisms unless analysed immediately. Unsuitable for certain sample areas due to the inclusion of breakpoint.
Shelf life: 24 months
Sterilisation Method: Gamma Irradiation to achieve a SAL of 10-6

Violet Red Bile Glucose Agar is used for the enumeration of Enterobacteriaceae in foods. Violet Red Bile Glucose Agar conforms to Harmonized USP/EP/JP requirements.
J-QUANT® Fluoride J-QUANT® Fluoride 100 Test Strips are used for determining the amount of fluoride in tap water supplied by local water supply companies. They assist by providing a semi-quantitative value either below or above predetermined guidelines and allow for quick assessment of the amount of fluoride. Carrying out the test by including sodium dithionite in the sample will prevent the white discolouration generated by chlorates and bromates without influencing the result.
Buffered Sodium Chloride-Peptone Broth pH 7.0 is the diluent specified by the Harmonized Pharmacopoeia for the microbiological examination of non-sterile products andconforms to Harmonized USP/EP/JP Requirements in a laboratory setting. Buffered Sodium Chloride-Peptone Broth pH 7.0 is not intended for use in the diagnosis of disease or other conditions in humans.
Buffered Sodium Chloride-Peptone Broth pH 7.0 is recommended by the Harmonized Pharmacopoeia (USP/EP/JP) for the microbiological examination of non-sterile products. The low level of peptone lessens the physiological shock experienced by microorganism when suspended in a diluent. The dual phosphate components create a buffered environment and sodium chloride maintains the osmotic balance.
BST metal detectable silicone lanyards are produced from 1.0 mm thick food grade silicone cord containing evenly dispersed metal detectable additives. As well as the silicone cord being detectable, the various metal parts also add to the items detectability. These lanyards also incorporate a silverbased antibacterial/antimicrobial additive which is extremely effective against E-Coli, MRSA & Salmonella.
The silicone cord features an optional 6mm diameter hole at the back of the neck to act as a deliberate weak point – allowing the lanyard to break at a reasonable force to prevent trapping accidents. We highly recommend that customers carry out their own testing and risk assessments before introducing to your production environment.
