HI-83314 Multi-parameter wastewater photometer COD

The photometer combines the 20 most commonly measured wastewater parameters with the ability to measure COD. One meter can be used for both pH and photometric measurements. The HI-83314 measures key water and wastewater quality parameters. It is a compact multi-parameter photometer. The HI-83314 is one of the most advanced photometers available with an innovative optical design. The meter utilises a reference detector and focusing lens to eliminate errors from changes in the light source and from imperfections in the glass cuvette. 10 key water and wastewater quality parameters with 20 different methods.

Features of the HI-83314:

  • Focusing Lens for Greater Light Yield
  • Reference Detector for a Stable Light Source
  • Large Cuvette Size
  • High efficiency LED light source
  • High-Quality Narrow Band Interference Filters
  • Battery Status Indicator
  • Error Messages
  • Data Logging – Up to 1000 photometric and pH readings can be stored.
  • Logged readings can be quickly and easily transferred to a flash drive or to a PC. Data is exported as a .CSV file for use with spreadsheet programs.
  • Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) – track calibration information including date, time, buffers used, offset and slope for traceability
  • pH CAL Check alerts user to potential problems during the calibration process
  • Cuvette cover
  • pH and temperature measurement with a single probe
  • Units of Measurement plus chemical form displayed
  • Result conversion at the touch of a button
  • Backlit 128 x 64 Pixel Graphic Liquid Crystal Display
  • Built-in Reaction Timer for Photometric Measurements
  • Absorbance mode – concentration versus absorbance

HI-839800 High accuracy multi-vial heater reactor block

The thermo-reacter is an easy to use test tube heater with the capacity to perform up to 25 simultaneous digestions. The HI-839800 is robust and durable, the main body is machined from a single block of metal. A sophisticated electronic thermostat controls the temperature within the block and can be verified by placing a thermometer in the temperature well provided. The HI-839800 reactor is equipped with 6 pre-defined and 2 user-defined °C profiles. The reactor block has a dedicated temperature profile for COD and total phosphorus reactions are pre-set to 150°C. A total nitrogen analysis is pre-set to 105°C. The heater also has an adjustable temperature mode (50 to 150°C) which can be used for other samples that might require different digestion temperatures. To give you optimum safety, the heater must always be used with a safety shield or other physical barrier placed between samples under test and operator.

Features of the HI-83314:

  • Yellow LED – active
  • Blinking red LED – exceeding 50°C
  • Green LED – on
  • Temperature is continuously evaluated and displayed on the LCD
  • Low and high-temperature alert indicator
  • Thermal fuse to prevent overheating – disables the heater
  • Countdown timer (3 hour is ideal for timed digestion)
  • Beep sound when the timer has ended
  • Infinity mode – timer can be used without shut-off feature

HI-93754 Pack of 25 COD Vials COD

Each pack is supplied with a Hanna certificate of quality. These reagents are traceable to NIST SRM® 930. The operator needs to add a small quantity of the sample because the vials contain approx 3 ml f pre-dosed reagent. Test preparation and chemicals and handling time are dramatically reduced with pre-dosed vials. The COD reagents are safe for operators and the environment. The vials and caps have both been designed to avoid any accidental reagent spills.
