The Hygiena Sponge'n Bag™ is a sterile sampling bag with biocide-free polyurethane sponge designed for environmental surface sampling up to 144 square inches. Healthcare and food safety professionals rely on this device for accurate microbial recovery, using it as Listeria sponges in pathogen detection programs. Pre-moistened with 10 mL of diluent (BPW, Letheen, or Neutralizing Buffer), it neutralizes residual sanitizers effectively. The leak-proof transport bag maintains sample integrity from collection to laboratory. Compatible with BAX® System PCR detection and MicroSnap® rapid enumeration methods for pathogen screening and indicator organism testing.
