Ideal for day-to-day use by scientific professionals and students, Stuart Premium Stirring Hot Plates offer precise temperature control and stirring speed of your samples. When plate temperature rises above 50℃, a hot warning light flashes even if the unit is turned off or unplugged. All units feature an integral fixing point for a retort rod and are BioCote antimicrobial protected.
The glass ceramic plate is chemical resistant, easy to clean, and allows for very high plate temperatures; plus the white surface ensures good visibility of colour changes. Powerful magnets provide stirring speeds of up to 1400 rpm and the ability to mix large volumes up to 15L. The simple body design allows spillages to be easily deflected from the user.
Benefits
Premium interface models offer a full-colour 4” TFT screen which simultaneously displays target settings and the actual temperature and stirring speed of the sample. An advanced control algorithm automatically measures the rate of temperature rise to judge the capacity and nature of samples, then optimises the heating rate. An audible alert sounds when the set temperature has been reached.
Individual temperature and speed profiles can be created and saved to the unit, allowing for fast setup of complicated experimental procedures. Built-in connectivity allows the unit to be updated in the field when new firmware versions are available. For accurate sample temperature control to within ±1℃, plug in the PTFE-coated temperature probe (included) to the rear of the unit.
