Since the beginning of the pandemic, Gem Scientific has worked in conjunction with its suppliers and business partners to manage the impact of disruptions from the coronavirus regulations and restrictions during the past year.

As I’m sure you’re aware, restrictions will be tightened again from 5th November with England entering another National lockdown until December 2nd, 2020. Under the new rules, a number of non-essential businesses will have to close.

Fortunately, Gem Scientific will be allowed to continue supplying its goods and services during this period due to the nature of our business. We have created a COVID-19-secure workplace which will allow us to continue to operate through the pandemic and supply our clients with essential goods.

The Gem team remain fully contactable via the normal channels and will continue to serve new and existing customer enquiries whilst going about our day-to-day business.

We have tried our utmost to increase our stock levels of fast-moving and core product lines nevertheless there may be increased lead times on some items which may affect deliveries going forward.

As a business, we are doing everything within our power to make sure our own staff remain safe whilst doing everything possible to minimise disruption and support our clients during these unprecedented times.

We will continue to monitor the situation, and should our circumstances change we will update you accordingly. In the meantime, please stay safe and be assured that we will continue to do our very best to support you over the coming weeks and months.
