Precision air bearings, low-inertia drag cup motor and high-resolution optical encoder enable measurements of wide-ranging viscous materials under real-world conditions, and quantitative insights into viscoelastic properties.The Discovery Core Rheometer includes a Peltier plate providing temperature control from -10 to 200°C for measurements using Cone and Plate and Parallel Plate configurations, with integrated air cooling of Peltiers eliminating the need for an external fluid circulator. The Discovery Core Rheometer comes standard with 40 mm diameter stainless steel upper parallel plate and lower Quick-Change Plate, suitable for a broad range of measurements.
